Yesterday I handed in a huge strategy for a client - it was awesome and I feel really good about it, I hope they share my enthusiasm and feel the awesomeness in it too.

However because one half of Toothless Tiger  are at Roskilde festival these days (Mark Bandte). Things at the office is kind of quiet and I decided to warmup for the summer holiday that I have with my husband and daughter by taking a holiday from the Tiger. It doesn't mean that I won't be working, but it means that my work will consist of writings. Getting the new book more into shape, working on the new e-book, working on the english translation of Return on Involvement, writing blogposts on henrietteweber.com. And I love to be here and feel all writer-ish and author-ish. I love rockin the henrietteweber.com realm and it's been neglected a bit the last couple of months. So for the rest of the week I will be writing all the time - Im in a writing camp in my own office and home - how awesome is that ?

What about you ? if you would take a break from the business and work on something else, what would it be ?

becoming a writer: hesitation to start reading

Today I reached a big goal. Today I finished the first draft of my first book. Now I have added all the chapters together, and I am looking to read my 60 pages of sweat, tears and not being present in my family life. My sacrifice... my book. My baby.

and I sit here and hesitate to start reading... what if it sucks ? - what if it's not good enough ? I feel like I am going to jump out on really deep water in 5 seconds, not sure where this book will take me.

I hope it kicks ass =)
