yesterday I received a mail from a friend of mine who thought I should sign up for DI's Women On Board programme. I am a boardmember of Morgendagens Heltinder and an advisor of Netflirt.dk (and also a boardmember at my daughters kindergarden) but I would love to work with more projects in that direction. So I got the application form for DI and started to fill it out. And became depressed. And more depressed. Because this application form wasn't embracing an entrepreneur like me, OR the network based business I am running.
I don't ever think that Toothless Tiger will have employees as a "real proper company" - I don't believe I will measure things in "growth rates or revenue". I believe in working with great people and companies but as small freelance entities... as I consider myself. A Toothless Tiger who is working on getting her own office somewhere and working on changing the world.
So I would claim that there's a lot of network based business going on.. But is it gonna make have another boardmember position if I haven't really achieved anything as a "real company". I only achieve things - and tend to keep on achieving things, as a freelancer and as a tiny company
